Our History
1995
Red Hot Comics was created by local businessman and comic book enthusiast, Ivor Davis.
2007
Following many years of successfully selling both to local customers and fans all around the world via our very popular eBay Store, Red Hot Comics became part of the ACE Comics group, headed up by comic book retail guru Martin Averre.
2016
After an amazing 9 years with ACE, Red Hot Comics was puchased by Geek Click Play Ltd, a company managed by Simon Mott, the founder of Economic Comics (now owned by ACE) and the cheap-as-chips eBay Store known as Simon's Collective.
Present
Red Hot Comics strongly believes in supporting the local economy, and are proud to employ 6 members of staff. We also prefer, whenever possible, to use local suppliers. We have a strong environmental policy, and will reuse and recycle as much material as we are able to. We also endevour to use packing materials that are environmentally friendly and biodegradable.

The Future
With our experience and knowledge. we believe we are superbly positioned to grow to become the best UK retailer for all of your comic book requirements! Later in 2016, we hope to launch a new subscriptions website, and also a new physical shop in the South of Scotland!

We are located in the centre of Glenwood Business Park, in the area of Castlemilk. Being in a business park means you park right outside the shop, for free!

By Train:
The nearest train station to Red Hot Comics is Croftfoot Station, which is approximately 1.3 miles walking distance away. However, we would recommend alighting at Kings Park Station, and boarding the number 75 bus to Castlemilk Leisure Centre, which is next to our business park.
By Car:
Located just north of East Kilbride means that Red Hot Comics is close to many major motorways, including the M73, M74, M77, M8 and M80.
By Bus:
No. 5 or 75 directly from Glasgow City Centre. Alight at Castlemilk Leisure Centre, for a 1 minute walk to Red Hot Comics.
